I do not remember which of the bridges across Lake Pontchartrain (Louisiana, usa) are sitting on hollow concrete tubes, but pretty sure both interstate bridges are on hollow rotocast columns 90 feet long 54 inch diameter. I think the second bridge columns are larger diameter. I remember the first bridge column wall thickness is thinner, the second bridge they used 5.5 inch thickness. Some 3000 of the columns have been wrapped in epoxy where the concrete has spalled off.
